SCAORS DEMANDS EMERGENCY MEDICAL FACILITY ON SUPREME COURT PREMISES FOLLOWING DEATH OF ADV.S.K.DHINGRA ON THE PREMISES OF SC

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE SCAORS with The President Of India

The Supreme Court Advocate On Record Association or SCAORS has passed a resolution on 9-7-2020 demanding that the Supreme Court makes adequete arrangements for emergency nedical facilities such as availability of doctor, ambulances, medicine strecher etc.

The ordinance was passed after the sudden demise of Advocate S.K. Dhingra on the premises of the Supreme Court arising from cardiac arrest. The unfortunate incident had opened a lot of shortcomings associated with the arrangements of emergency medical facilities available on the premises of the Supreme Court.

The time when Mr. Dhingra suffered the cardiac arrest there was no doctor or nurse available on the premises. Further the security personnel posted at gate no. B of the court didnot allow the ambulance to pass through resulting in the loss of time which it is believed finally led to the lawyer being denied medical aid.
